"Check-in took way too long"
I got there tired, and then check-in just dragged on forever. There was only one person at the front desk, and nobody really explained what was going on or why it was taking so long, so... yeah. The room was fine once I finally got in, but that first impression wasn’t great. Just not really what I was expecting

"Housekeeping was super solid"
We stayed for two nights the housekeeping team was really good. The room was nice and clean when we arrived, the towels were fully stocked, and they came by to freshen things up without us even having to ask. The only tiny thing was that the bathroom trash didn’t get emptied one day, but it really wasn’t a big deal. Overall, we were happy with the service.

"Decent room, but way too noisy"
The hotel was okay overall, nothing too bad, but the noise was a real issue. I kept waking up during the night from people in the hallway and sounds coming from upstairs. Not the best if you’re hoping for a quiet night’s sleep.

"Billing was fine, but I’m not a fan of the fees"
My charge ended up being correct, so I can’t really complain too much. Still, I personally don’t love when the fees aren’t super clear upfront, and this felt a little confusing to me

"Should’ve Trusted My Gut on the Location"
The hotel itself was okay, and the staff were perfectly fine, but the location ended up being more of a hassle than I expected. Looking at the map, I thought it would be convenient, but once I got there, there wasn’t much within easy walking distance and traffic made getting in and out take longer than I’d planned. i had a feeling it might not be the best spot and I probably should’ve trusted my instinct. I wouldn’t choose this location again

"Beds were just way better than I expected"
I stayed at a Drury last weekend, the bed was just the thing that stood out the most. It was soft, but not that sink-way-down kind of soft, if that makes sense.

The pillows were really comfortable too, and I actually slept through the night, which just about never happens for me when I’m in a hotel.

I woke up with no stiff back or anything, so yeah, I was happy. Just an easy 5 stars from me.

"Super easy stay with our dog"
We stayed here with our dog and it was way easier than I expected. I’m usually a little wary of hotel customer service because pet policies can get weird fast, but check-in was quick and nobody made it feel like a hassle. There was a nice little spot outside for potty breaks, and the room was clean with no weird pet smell. Traveling with a pup can be stressful, but this place made it simple. I’d stay here again.

"Honestly, the room just didn’t feel clean"
I’m not trying to be overly picky, but the room really didn’t seem clean. There was hair in the bathroom, the sheets didn’t feel fresh, and there was this weird smell in the room. I get that hotels can get busy, but basic cleanliness is kind of the main thing I expect

"Felt safer here than at some places I’ve stayed"
I only stayed for one night, but I felt comfortable overall. Compared to a few other hotels I’ve stayed at recently, this one felt more secure with the front desk nearby, key access for the doors, and a parking lot that was actually decently lit. The only thing I noticed was that the side entrance felt a bit too quiet later at night, which made me a little more aware of my surroundings. Still, it was a solid stay and I felt safe for the most part

"Parking was way more annoying than I expected..."
Parking was way more annoying than I expected. I had to drive around for a while looking for a spot, and when I finally found one, it felt far from the entrance. Not the best start after a long drive, to be honest. Check-in ended up feeling more stressful than it needed to be, which was a bit frustrating.

The replies from support were really slow. I kept waiting and checking back, and it felt like it took forever just to get a response!

Really easy wheelchair access. No hassle, no awkward spots. Just got in, moved around comfortably, and didn’t have to think about it much. Accessibility was great

"I had a feeling breakfast wasn’t..."
I had a feeling breakfast wasn’t going to be great, i should’ve trusted my instinct. The eggs came out cold, and the coffee had that burnt taste that’s hard to ignore. Disappointing overall.

"Evening kickback was a total disappointment"
I was so excited for the evening kickback, but wow, it really let me down. The food was cold, the lines felt like they went on forever, and the staff seemed like they were running around just trying to survive the chaos. It’s a nice idea in theory, but I definitely wouldn’t choose this hotel just for that perk.

"I’m sure I entered the right dates..."
I’m sure I entered the right dates, but the site kept switching them around while I was trying to book. It was confusing and made the whole process way more frustrating than it needed to be

"Front desk felt rude"
The front desk staff just seemed annoyed every time I asked a question. Like, even simple things felt like I was bothering them, and it happened more than once. It made the whole experience feel uncomfortable.

"Wi-Fi was fine for the most part"
The Wi-Fi worked okay overall, but it did drop a few times at night. Not the end of the world, though if you’re counting on a steady connection late in the evening, it’s something to keep in mind.

"Definitely not what I expected"
I felt misled by the place. The bathroom looked nothing like I expected it to, there was mold in the shower, and the floor felt sticky when I walked on it. It was just really unpleasant and made the whole stay feel gross.

"Rewards program is a mess"
I’ve stayed at Drury a handful of times and booked through druryhotel.com because I figured my rewards points would just show up like they’re supposed to. After one stay, though, the points were missing, and getting even a basic answer took way longer than it should have.
The whole program feels confusing and not worth the effort. I don’t want to be emailing and calling about something that should be automatic. I’ve liked Drury in the past, but if the rewards are going to be this much of a hassle, I’m probably going to start booking somewhere else.
